After we ate lunch it was time for shopping. Each child had  been given a certain amount to spend for clothes for themselves and food for the family. Both children decided on tops, pants/shorts and underwear. Nicol's siblings were also able to get an outfit. We all enjoyed ice cream after shopping and by this time, it was time to say goodbye :( We took some last photos and the children and their parents expressed how they felt. I told them that I was happy to be able to sponsor them and that I hoped to return in the future! By this time it was pouring down rain but Kendry and his dad had to take a taxi home while the C I van dropped me off and then took Nicol home. I am very happy that I had this opportunity to visit Nicol and Kendry and I hope that they will thrive through the Children International sponsorship program. Both of their parents are working and they are very involved in the children's lives. I did not get to meet Kendry's mom but hopefully the next time!
