The CI driver is an excellent driver. He knows his way around and he knows how to get to where he needs to go. I learned that he has worked for CI for 20 years and he was the driver on my other visits. We rode to the Village of Hope and I began to recognize the little homes and the roads and as we pulled to the home of Bleidys and Maria, the family was standing in the yard, waving and smiling. They had decorated the front with pink, red,  and white balloons, pretty posters and photos and they had a beautiful bouquet of flowers. It made me feel very special.

The girls were just as beautiful as ever and growing like weeds!  :)  Their little cousin was with them also. We exchanged hugs and went inside the home. I asked if this was the same home because it looked different and I learned that this was a new place that was next door to their old home which they sold earlier. This home  seemed to have more rooms than the other home which only had a large area and a bedroom but the floor was made out of concrete, dirt and some of the walls were covered in black plastic. I saw the two beautiful chairs that the family had on the last visit, and they had a new refrigerator, in addition to a new bed, I think. In 2011, the family only had one small sofa, a small table,  and two small beds in the home.

Their mom led me around and Bleidys and Maria introduced me to their cute little puppy. Their other little puppy passed away not long after the previous visit so they were very happy to have a new puppy. Bleidys wants to be a vet and she is very gentle with animals.

The girls sat down to open the small gifts that I brought and it looked like Maria really liked the butterfly watch. Though both girls were very shy,  I noticed that Maria was more affectionate than on previous visits. She was usually a lot quieter than Bleidys  on previous but this time Bleidys was quieter and a little self conscious.I think that it is because of the transition into the teenage years.

This is a very sweet and kind family. The parents gave me a beautiful painting on the last visit and in the video  that I will post, the father says that he is having a handbag made for me that he wants to send through Children International.
