During my time in the Dominican Republic, I stayed with a very nice couple who keep guests in their home. Their names were Luz and Rafael and they were very helpful and inviting. The home was close to the center of Santo Domingo so I had plenty of opportunities to visit historic sites, plazas, shops, and restaurants in the area. I spent two free days in Santo Domingo.
